You might want to reconsider much of this. The ability to perceive in cardinal directions is cultural. There is solid evidence based on the Guugu Yimithirr language, spoken by an Indigenous Australian group. Instead of “left” or “right,” they use cardinal directions (north, south, east, west) to describe locations and orientation. Other examples of languages with similar systems include some Mayan languages, like Tzeltal, and certain groups in Namibia, such as the Kuuk Thaayorre.
