You are missing the point of why this is funny. It’s funny because it’s relatable and annoying but not because it’s unnecessary.

I’m guessing you never worked as a consultant or on multiple projects for multiple customers. Customers don’t like it if you bill for time you spent working on things for other people. Can you imagine getting a 20 minute haircut and then getting a bill for an 8 hour shift because you happen to be the last customer of the day?
