Yep probably good that you cancel. If you don’t understand the importance of culture fit you probably wouldn’t fit in or be pleasant to work with. To be clear culture fit is only discriminatory to people that are unpleasant to work with. The goal is to make sure you don’t hire people that would bring down the productivity of the team by causing unnecessary conflict. It has nothing to do with being friends and I am certainly not a teenager. I’m a older introvert that often prefers to work alone and even I know the value of a good personality and culture fit.
