…t the West means by freedom of speech, there is no difference between the West and Russia or China. It’s just that if you criticize the Chinese government openly, they put you in jail, whereas in the US, criticisms are so marginalized and the government view is so amplified that nobody gives the dissenting view any importance, because it is practically invisible.
