When you are hired as an employee you don't get to pick the tools you use or the job you do. That is literally what being an employee is.

Having been in support and DevOps/SecOps for years this would be a nightmare. I'm sympathetic but this is not a reasonable accommodation, this is a security breach waiting to happen.
