Ukraine may not, but its allies do if they choose to invest them in Ukraine. Besides this isn’t a war of attrition between nations. Ukraine doesn’t have to outmatch or even outlast Russia, they simply have to outlast Putin. This has never been a war between Russia and Ukraine this is a was between Putin and Ukraine (after all he likes to tell everyone who will listen that he is Russia) and he is right. He is this version of Russia. A 71 year old paranoid relic of the Soviet Union, when he dies that version of Russia will die with him. No leader that might emerge after is dumb enough to continue this or smart enough to not blame the entire fiasco on Putin. Despite his best efforts, Ukraine is going to be around long after Putin is cold and in the ground.
