This makes no logical sense. Unless you landlord is renting you a place without a bathroom you are just as likely to get the same number of visits from plumber as if you own. Plus with a landlord you may not have a choice about when these people show up. Oh and you can get a visit from a landlord at anytime. And often (depending on where you live and your lease terms) they can enter your home at any time without your permission.
