This is why you are unhappy and she isn't. She isn't "lucky" to have her grad degree, it didn't come out of a box of cereal. I'm pretty sure she worked for it. Luck had nothing to do with it.

Everything you wrote is very telling, with all of the other women you just wrote about what is happening to them not what they are doing. If you are satisfied with this passive aproach to life that's fine but as you are finding out, people rarely are.

You talk a great deal about how you and none of these other women have "done nothing wrong". And while that is great, you also haven't talked about anything that any of you did "right". Excercising, eating right, helping family and friends these are just the bare minimum maintenance needed for the basics of life.

If you cannot set goals and aspirations for yourself and, crucially, boundaries for others, that is 100% on you. You must have something more to live for other than yourself or even your family. These are the things that feed the soul and that give a reason for living and that makes a woman the kind of person who can rock any time in her life.
