This is just factually incorrect. Half of the the world’s plastic ends up in landfills. Less than 1% ends up in the ocean. All this only marginally better and any plastic in the ocean is to much. But when people make claims that are easily disproven with a simple google search it takes away from every other point they are trying to make no matter how good.
