This is Google’s major problem in all areas. I’ve commented the same thing numerous times. Google has engineering ADHD and cannot cure it’s “new shiny” problem. The list of projects abandoned by Google before they even had time to gain traction is seemingly endless. And now everyone has been burnt by this so many times the smart people stay away from new ideas from Google
