This is a legit common mistake but physical distribution of resources (not even talking ownership just literal location) is something that so many people overlook when we talk about this subject. The fact that water is cheep in upstate New York does nothing for a farmer in California or a family in Yemen. Transportation of resources costs money, time, and energy so until that changes we will never really be post scarcity. Even if it might feel like it when someone looks around their local neighborhood.
