This best way to do these is to not call them a one on one and don’t schedule them ahead of time. I’ve found that it works well to simply ask if the person has time to walk you through whatever they have just been working on. Then from there you can broaden the conversation to everything. This approach makes everything less formal and everyone feel more relaxed. In the end they don’t even know you had a 1 on 1 😂
