The problem is the rules. Every rule has an unintended side effect and some people are more able to take advantage of these. For example, If you “own nothing” because you’ve put all your assets into a corporation, sign your home up for section8 housing and then “pay” yourself minimum wage you too can collect free healthcare, subsidized rent, food stamps, child tax credits, etc. all while living in your McMansion and paying less than zero taxes.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg and literally none of that is against the rules.

Rationally anyone would be foolish not to take advantage of the rules as much as possible.
