That is a nice fantasy. But it is not Europe’s job to make Russia feel more secure. No other country in Europe worries about being invaded by a neighbor because they have all integrated into the global community. Russia’s insistence on remaining separate and totalitarian is why it feels threatened.
And before someone brings up the “… but history…”. That’s total BS. If France and Germany, France and England, Spain and England, Germany and Poland, Poland and Ukraine can all bury their past conflicts and live in together as neighbors and friends, Russia can to. But Russia is still caught in the delusion that it is a superpower simply because it has nuclear weapons.
