That depends a lot on the senior engineers in question if they are mature, work well with others, and have good interpersonal skills particularly code detachment and humility, yes for sure. But at those levels they are hard to come by and you generally aren’t getting one of them for under 200k.

That experience taught me that a few junior devs with drive and that are eager to learn and have good guidance can often be more cohesive than a team of senior devs. Particularly one that is composed of people with big egos.
