Some people shouldn’t work from home they aren’t cut out for it because they lack discipline. The key is to measure performance by outcome not by time spent. Managers who don’t know the difference are the root of the problem. And when people say they don’t know how to make those measurements for xyz job it’s a red flag that the job doesn’t need to exist at all.
