Seriously? This surprised you? Hahaha wow HR people really are out of touch. Everyone I’ve ever known who has been put on a PIP at any company has been looking for the exit immediately and left within 6 months even if they successfully completed the PIP. The problem is it just completely taints the employee’s relationship with the company and all trust is lost.
