Personally I love how Americans all line up in one lane to slow themselves down only to leave a free lane open for me. Clearly they know that I am very important and that my time is much more valuable then theirs. I appreciate the sacrifice of waiting patiently in a long line of cars so that those of us that are more important can get on with our very important day. It must be so nice to have the luxury of so much extra time that you can just use it to make my life more convenient. I am truly jealous of all those people I pass they have such dedication to sacrifice for me. I sometimes like to give them a friendly wave as I pass. I know they appreciate the acknowledgment from someone so important. I often imagine that they go home and tell their kids about the day they had the honor of sitting in traffic for 30 minutes longer than necessary so that I could get to my destination 5 minutes faster. I truly appreciate the extra 5 sitting by the pool. It really helps after a long day. I know my manicurist and hair stylist appreciate it when I arrive 10 minutes early instead of just 5 minutes before my appointment. They tell me stories about customers that show up 30 minutes late and expecting to still have an appointment. It’s just disrespectful to these hard workers. I really don’t understand why anyone would want to be late. Arriving early allows me time to enjoy the complimentary champagne and chocolates. But I guess not everyone likes champagne. But I digress, thank you drivers of America keep up the excellent work of knowing your place. The next time I have an appointment I will toast you with my complimentary glass of bubbly while I am waiting for to have my manicure.
