Nope he's not on the lease. Want to install a satellite dish on the roof? Nope I don't want to damage my roof. Want to skip mowing the lawn this weekend? Well if you do I'll come mow it and charge you extra because it's in your lease as your obligation. When you rent you have exactly as much freedom as the lease allows, and that's it.
