No, sorry, that’s not how the real world works. We don’t “create” the real world. We live in the real world. What you are thinking of is called imagination. And while imaginary things are great you can’t eat or drink them.
See you and I can imagine that there is a fourth box. But that doesn’t mean you can stand on it. It doesn’t matter how many people agree that it is real, if there is no actual fourth box, no amount of imagination, no amount of belief, or mass delusion is going to create it in the real world.
Even if everyone in the world agrees that there is a fourth box, you still can’t stand on an imaginary box.
But yes you are right things can always be fairer but we have to stop the delusion that equity equals equal outcomes. Equity does not guarantee equal outcome, it never will, it can’t. Any system that guarantees equal outcomes is inherently inequitable.
Equity only addresses inequality in things outside of the choices that individuals make constrained in so far as it does not burden others with that same inequality.
