No it wouldn’t. I mean much of this is delusional and counter productive thinking but it’s not coming out of nowhere. But it’s not worth getting “pissed off” about. The productive way to handle this is with empathy and education. Clearly this manager is in over their head because they don’t have an in depth understanding about developers or the development process. This is an opportunity to teach. … or if that fails prove them right and leave.
