Yes, Medium has always been “for” readers. Remember there are a ton of writers on here who have never received a single penny from writing and so many more that would be thrilled to see a single dollar in a day much less six. Besides a platform “for” writers would be rather pointless as a writer with no readers might as well not write anything at all.
