Many companies do give a minimum 2 weeks severance (unless being fired for cause)

…e percolator. The new way of quitting a job is to just stop showing up, and that is understandable. They sure don’t give you two weeks' notice when they are going to fire you. They just do it. People are catching on and they aren’t having it anymore.
