I’ve heard this kind of thing a few times but haven’t really seen anyone who was like this that stuck around for very long because they are easy targets in layoffs. I assume this is because I work mostly in tech and mostly startups (but even in large companies I didn’t really see this). I’m guessing maybe this is more of a thing for companies that make buggy whips.
