It’s too soon in the adoption curve to be taxing EVs. Besides there are too many unknowns Ike how do you handle a plug-in-hybrid ? Personally I like how Oregon is experimenting with addressing this issue, where drivers pay for the miles they drive on Oregon roads. Eventually I think this is where we are heading. Sure there are privacy concerns with gos tracking but there are ways to mitigate this and frankly there is a point in the future where all cars will be tracked on public roads.
