It’s hard to describe because prediction is impossible. While I agree with much of what you think will happen it is still just a prediction based on limited data. Science is never so adamant in its predictions and raising public hysteria is in no ones interest. Politicians and scientists destroyed much of their credibility when the virus first appeared. The best they can do now is damage control. And that is at a society level which encompasses more than economics, healthcare or even individual lives.
