I’m sorry but it’s very misguided to blame everything on “the boomers”. In fact there is plenty of blame to go around. The problem with blaming the boomers is that they aren’t the ones in control of most of the economy now and many of them are themselves sharing the same problems. Frankly, millennials and gen-z are a HUGE understated part of the problem. (Of course for a generation that likes to shirk responsibility that’s kind of to be expected) The reason I know this is because I’m a gen-xer and I can tell you that we didn’t have these problems this bad until those generations showed up. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this isn’t a “you’re in traffic” problem, this is a “you are the traffic” problem. And the problem with blaming everything on “the boomers” is they are all already on the exit ramps. When they are off the freeway, you’re still going to have this problem so who are you going to blame then?
