I’m a creature of habit and love my 104 key keyboard. I often pack one to use with my laptop on the go. Of course I actually make extensive use of the number pad for macros and 10 key at a high speed. I’ve never found the extra distance to my mouse to be an issue. Quite the opposite I find the extra distance comfortable and means I have my arms and hands more positions throughout the day. Well and I long ago learned to touch type with only my left hand so there is that too
