If you truly just want to get rid of stuff but would like some money for it, have an everything is a dollar yard sale. We had one and it was very successful. Excluding some high ticket items that were sold for more (lawn mower, some large appliances, etc) we sold over 3500 items a $1 each
Something about the flat price made people buy more it was crazy and we didn’t haggle or negotiate.
15 random items that’s $15 dollars. 2 shirts $2. 100 CDs, $100.
Then after 2 days everything left just went for donation.
