I think the more fundamental problem is that the majority of movies being made today and in the last decade are just brain dead forgettable garbage or recycled trash. Movies are to long and have stopped being about entertainment. Instead they are vanity projects or trying to teach lessons or push agendas of some sort. The net result is that few things are actually really even worth going to the theater for and this coming from one of those people who goes “frequently”
