I suspect that this one word is the problem. Saying you work in a silo is like saying you want to work completely isolated in a away that cuts you off from anything that might change or anyone that has input. I don’t have a problem with devs who like to work alone because I do as well. But I wouldn’t hire someone who said they liked to work in a silo.
