I don’t know that sounds like exactly like the kind of direction I would expect from good leadership. It’s a clear goal without being prescriptive. It has a lot of room for product leaders to refine into more directly actionable goals that will be implemented by the product team.
No it’s not specific but that’s the world of work we live in today. You are not going to get management handholding at any level. Employees at every level are expected to take ownership of decisions appropriate to their level of the organization.
To me that’s a good thing it empowers people throughout the organization and allows decisions to be made at the lowest level where the expertise is available to be applied to the problem which is where it is closest to and closer focused on the problem.
