I cannot believe anyone at Apple would ask such a poorly constructed question.

As posited in the graphic at the top of this article, there is insufficient information to formulate an answer. To make this a plausible question to the answers, you need to reword the question by adding a sentence.

There are three boxes: one with only apples, one with only oranges, and one with both. The boxes are labeled "Apples," "Oranges," and "Apple & Oranges." Each box has the wrong label. If you pick one fruit from a single box without seeing inside, how can you correctly label all boxes?

This corrected question will lead to the answers you suggest.
