I absolutely love this idea, well not the forced part, I would absolutely do this voluntarily if I worked for DoorDash. I think this kind of thing is better to incentivize or gamifi rather than force. Software engineers are not all the same and to gain the benefits of this program you don’t need all your engineers doing it just enough that can go and bring back the insights. Besides it will eventually be a self selecting way to see which devs really care about customer experience.
