Honestly the cringe of this request really has nothing to do with being a woman or an executive. I’m a man, not an executive and I *might* even own a pair of khakis somewhere in the back of my closet. None of that means I would be willing to wear them and a T-shirt to give a professional presentation like I’m in some kind of cult. I wouldn’t even wear a polo collared shirt for such an event because they are ugly. What ever happened to companies wanting their people to look like professionals?
