Having seen what both my sons learned in college getting their CS degrees (both at very high ranking schools and excellent grades) and having worked with a Jr dev who had completed a code camp and had actual experience. Honestly I would hire the later she was a phenomenal learner and had more practical knowledge than either of my sons did when the graduated.
