Great list I wish more writers would read this. The one thing that I think you missed, or at least didn’t explicitly state, and in my opinion the absolute most important, is to know and be conscious of your audience and what your goal is at all times. These two factors influences how you implement all of these others.
For example when writing something that will be primarily read by people for whom English is not their first language it can be helpful to include unnecessary and redundant words to increase the likelihood that the reader will know some of the words and can learn the meanings of others from context.
Another example is if you are intentionally writing to be either more informal or personally persuasive , where you might write in a more naturalistic or casual town and use more filler words.
Conversely, you might use more complicated language if you’re trying to write for a more formal or specialized audience particularly one where the audience share a lexicon that encapsulates very complex ideas into short phrases or single words (lawyers, engineers, doctors, etc.).
Context is everything in writing, but context goes beyond what’s put on the page and extends into the real world.
