There is a difference between being a cynic and a realist.

At least then we agree being an athlete (or a florist) or anything does not make someone a role model.

I would never agree that there aren’t role models in the world but yes it’s incongruous to view someone as a role model based on profession. What must be considered is the sum total of their actions.
