Earlier you stated “Capitalism nor wealth intrinsically have any intersections with ethics. “. These two statements are contradictory . So which is it? Does capitalism have something to do with ethics or doesn’t it?
You had it right the first time. Capitalism is not inherently ethical or moral, nor is it non-ethical or amoral. Capitalism is just a basic system for allocating production and wealth. Ethics only comes into the picture when we start to layer in our systems of control (or lack of control) It allows for the most ethical system we know of. Compared to other systems such as feudalism or communism which are even more inclined to injustice and being unethical some form of capitalism is the best currently known option.
