Because women think they know how to date but they don’t really understand how dating works.

Perfect example, I recently had a woman ask me if there was a “spark” after just a week or so of talking and one date that ended in a very passionate kiss and one cancelled date because she got sick. While I was very attracted to her and interested in seeing her more, outside of horny teenagers one date is way too soon to have a “spark”.

When answered with honesty she felt dejected for no reason and didn’t even care to understand the nuance of what she was asking. It was sad to see her instantly just turn inward and assume rejection. I tried to explain but gave up trying to assure her it was not. At the end of the day I can’t build a relationship with someone that insecure.
