75k is perfectly reasonable depending on where in the country we are talking about. More is also reasonable in other areas. 270k is probably a little extreme just about everywhere even SF and NY. Remember we aren’t talking about “get everything you want” money nor are we talking about family income. This number is supposed to represent an individual income where they have all their NEEDS met and are able to not live paycheck to paycheck.
